High Powered Rocket Launch Extra Credit |
Go to the hpr launch in culpeper. take a picture with you and a big rocket. Bring the picture in to the teacher by May 15th. OR you may make a SHORT video journal of your experience. Make sure to get a video clip showing you and the rockets. Keep the total length of your video to under 4 minutes.
NO late photo’s/videos accepted.

While your there ask questions about how the person got started in rocketry or high powered rocketry. Ask them how they know when the parachute is going to deploy during flight. Ask them about their rocket motors. Be polite and pay attention to their answers.

DIRECTIONS:
From the Charlottesville area, take Route 29 North (~45 minutes). Stay on 29 by pass when you get to Culpeper and look for the Route 15 sign. Go about 4.3 miles and look for smoke and cars in a field on the left.
