This is not a comprehensive textbook. It is to serve as resource to help explain some of the main concepts that are covered in a first year physics class. The cool stuff happens in class with demonstrations, explanations, labs, and activities. It can be used as a review or as a primer before class. This resource contains a lot of animations and movies embedded from YouTube. It is meant to be different from a printed textbook. Hopefully it is more engaging.

At the end of nearly every page is a collection of questions called "QU's." These are "Questions for Understanding." You do not sign in to take them. After each question, the correct answer and solution is provided. The goal is to see if you learned what you needed from the webpage.

Each unit also include many example problems showing how the math is modeled. In addition to answers you will also see solutions. Many include video solutions. When you are stuck on a homework problem, these are a great resource.

Each unit also links to solutions to many, many, problems from the my Physics Resource Book that are related.

Don't forget my Physics Resource Book. It contains hundreds of pages of pratice problems.
