A skater is traveling horizontally when he grabs an overhanging rope and swings up to some maximum height. What was this maximum height?

A toy car travels along the hill as shown above. There is no friction until the car reaches bottom of the hill. At this point the car experiences a force according to the graph shown. The starting point on the graph is where the hill becomes flat at the bottom. How fast is the car traveling after rolling along the ground for 4 meters.
E3. A ball is dropped from some height and hits the ground with some speed. As a ratio, how much higher must the ball be dropped from to hit the ground with TWICE the velocity? If needed, make your own example problem to figure this out.
