A Frigit™ is toy that is consedered to be a marble track. It is stuck to a refrigerator or, as in the case of my classroom, a whiteboard. Below are some pictures of Frigits™.

Objective:

Your task is simple. You are to use Paper Roller Coaster pieces to create your own Frigit™ and to put everyone's pieces together in one working design.

Materials:
  • A piece of foam core of a predetermined size. You may use no more thantwo small pieces.
  • Magnetic backing to applied by the teacher.
  • Clear, cellophane tape.
  • Magazine
  • Ruler
  • Ball point pen.
  • Scissors
  • Track patterns
  • other paper

Guidelines:
  • The tracks you create should work with existing "Frigitâ„¢" pieces.
  • You are to mount the tracks to foam board which will be stuck to the whiteboard with magnets.
  • Add decorations or other pieces to your piece if it makes it "cooler" looking.
  • The track piece you create shuld extend 1/2 inch beyond the edge of the foam core. You may cut the foam core if needed.
