Solutions to the workbook problems

Students should be able to:

  1. Convert between single units using dimensional analysis. (e.g. converting miles to cm)
  2. Convert between fractional units using dimensional analysis (e.g. m/s to miles/h )
  3. Convert between units that require powers. (e.g. gallons to ft3 or acres to cm2.)
  • You will given a conversion sheet so you do not need to memorize the values on the conversion sheet.
