Finding displacement on a position vs time graph
Displacement is the change in position. Change is represented with Greek letter capital delta, Δ. the letter "x" represents position and displacement is represented as " Δx." In science terms the change is always calculated as final value - initial value. Since all of our kinematics graphs deal with funcition of time, f(t). This means that change is always the measurement that occures later in time - the measurement that occures earlier in time.
