Example

Impulse is the change in momentum. This is further defined as the final momentum minus the initial momentum, (mvf–mvo). We saw earlier how the conservation of momentum can be described from the impulses. Below is a vector example of this.

Here is the same collision but this time look at the truck's change in momentum.
